Co-Founder & Chairman

Lau Lee Cheung is an entrepreneur and visionary in science research.
Lau graduated from University of Toronto in 1975 and University of Windsor in 1977. In 1990, Lau set up Chip Tak (Shenzhen) Textile Co., Ltd. and was the general manager and legal representative of the company from 1990 to 2011. During this period, the company became the first textile printing and dyeing enterprise in China to pass the environmental protection ISO14000 certification. The company has been awarded “Top 100 industrial enterprises in Shenzhen,” “Trustworthy enterprise of Shenzhen customs,” “Top 10 foreign investment enterprises,” “Top 10 tax payers,” and “Top 10 enthusiastic public welfare enterprises” in the Longgang District of Shenzhen. In 2003,
Lau divested his business and setup a 12MW Hydropower Station in Shaoguan Xinzhuang that began power generation in 2007. Since 2000,
Lau has been actively engaged in scientific research and in November 2015, founded EPRO Advance Technology Ltd in Hong Kong with Albert to focus their research on new clean energy solutions.

Co-Founder & CEO

Albert Lau graduated at the age of 20 with a Bachelor Degree in Materials Science and Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Since graduation, he has returned to Hong Kong and worked extensively in the field of energy and environment, including work on silicon material synthesis, lithium-ion batteries, solid state hydrogen, and photovoltaic and water treatment processes. Albert is the co-inventor of several families of patents filed in major economies, countries and regions. Before founding EPRO, Albert co-founded two manufacturing companies over a period of 16 years, serving as Director and COO for both, and managing around 600 people across Hong Kong, China and the United States. Albert also holds a LLB degree from the University of London.
